Since there's no format specified here I'll do what I can to organize information.
BASIC INFO:
Name: Daniel
Age: 28
Location: Southern California (near LA)
Character: Elithiss (second 's' not a typo...someone took my name)
Class: Demon Hunter (Havoc: Melee DPS)
BRIEF BIO:
Currently a full-time student attending California State University San Bernardino majoring in Computer Science, should have my BS in Computer Science in approx. 10 months time (yay).
Did four years in the Navy as an Information Systems Technician. Requested ship duty out of tech. school....was sent to a shore station in Italy for three and a half years..
I think that's brief enough.
PAST WoW EXPERIENCE:
I've been playing WoW since release. First toon ever was NE Druid, when my only use was to Innervate other healers. Cleared MC during Vanilla, didn't do BWL or AQ (was playing on and off at that time).
Didn't play much of BC, or WotLK. Raided extensively in Cataclysm on Sub. Rogue and Enhance Sham (also as Resto Sham here and there). Firelands was where I raided the most. I tended to be one of the top
DPS as well as one of the least damage taken during encounters in my then guild. Didn't play too much of MoP for personal reasons, came back at launch of WoD. Leveled and geared my Rogue in heroic dungeon
gear as quickly as I was able and began raiding. Cleared through Heroic Highmaul before nerf to it, only downed Bladefist on Mythic (with a diff. guild I wasn't in). When BRF was about to launch I stopped playing
again, as the guild I was in wasn't interested in progressing to mythic content...and physics, fucking physics. Just started playing again approx. 2 months ago.
WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR:
This is likely the most important section. I'm looking for a guild of reasonably above average players. Folks who come together for a good time between pulls, and get serious to complete the most challenging content in the game.
I thoroughly enjoy learning and mastering mechanics which are put forth in mythic raid encounters. Have I ever fucked up a mechanic? Absolutely. ...but that's how you learn and improve. I'm tired of trying to PuG my way through
content where people leave at first wipe. Wipes need to happen, as long as they're happening later and later in the encounter, I'm fine with it, because that's progression by definition. I find raid encounters to be a form of complex,
dynamic, interactive puzzles which require precise teamwork and dedication to solve. Let me solve puzzles with you, I'll do my part I assure you. I'm always prompt in regards to being on time (a side-effect from my time in the service),
I keep myself supplied with pots/flasks/food, and I learn from mistakes very quickly while also being able to adapt to situations on the fly if need be. .......I want to solve puzzles.
FINAL NOTE:
Just want to say I appreciate the time of whoever has reviewed this app. and I look forward to hearing from you whether it be acceptance or denial.
